To begin, 1st couple pass 3rd woman by the right and finish in the middle of the set facing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>21 \u2013 24 1st man with 2nd man and 3rd woman, 1st woman with 2nd woman and 3rd man dance half reels of three on sides, 1st couple dancing out and up to begin. 1st couple finish in the middle of the set, facing the men\u2019s side in promenade hold, 1st woman on partner\u2019s left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>25 \u2013 28 1st couple with 3rd couple dance a half reel of three across the set at first place. The word Matawatchan meant &#8220;hidden village&#8221; in the Algonquin language. If the village was hidden then it was hiding from something.
