On bar 20, retaining nearer hands, rotate as a couple (man backing up, woman dancing forward) half way around to face up. Dance up the middle in 4 bars to end above the second couple on partners\u2019 side of the dance facing out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>25 \u2013 28 First couple turn second couple 1-1\/2 times, first man and second woman with the right hand, first woman and second man with the left hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20 \u2013 32 First couple dance a half figure of eight around third couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Repeat having passed a couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: \u2014 Through the Looking Glass was written in 2003, after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
