1 \u2013 4        1st couple cross giving right hands and cast off one place, 2nd couple moving up on bars 3 \u2013 4.<\/p>\n

5 \u2013 8        1st couple cross giving right hands and cast to the right (1st man up, 1st lady down), 1st lady ends facing 3rd man, 1st man facing 2nd lady.<\/p>\n

9 \u2013 12        1st man with 2nd couple, 1st lady with 3rd couple, dance half reel of three across, passing left shoulders to begin, and end three and three across.<\/p>\n

13 \u2013 16        All join hands and set once, then cross giving right hand to opposite person, and face clockwise.<\/p>\n

17 \u2013 24        Three couples dance round in a circle (follow my leader), 2nd and 3rd couples dance all the way round for 8 bars, while 1st couple dance halfway (4 bars) then turn each other 1\u00bc times with the right hand, to end facing 1st corner positions.<\/p>\n

25 \u2013 28        1st couple dance half diagonal reel of four with 1st corners, finishing by passing right shoulders to face 2nd corner positions.<\/p>\n

29 \u2013 32        1st couple dance half diagonal reel of four with 2nd corners, passing right shoulders to finish in 2nd place on own side.<\/p>\n

Repeat, having passed a couple.<\/p>\n

32-bar strathspey for three couples in a four-couple longwise set<\/p>\n

1 \u2013 4        1st couple set and cast off one place. 2nd couple step up on bars 3-4.<\/p>\n

5 \u2013 8        1st couple cross over, passing each other by the left, and dance round first corners by the right. 1st couple finish back to back facing first corners.<\/p>\n

9 \u2013 14        1st couple set to corners and partner to face each other up and down the set.<\/p>\n

15 \u2013 16        1st couple, passing by the right, finish in second place on own sides facing out.<\/p>\n

17 \u2013 24        2nd, 1st and 3rd couples dance a chain progression for three couples.<\/p>\n

17 \u2013 18      2nd and 3rd couples, giving right hands to partners, turn three quarters round. At the same time, 1st couple dance clockwise one quarter round.<\/p>\n

19 \u2013 22      2nd man and 3rd woman, giving left hands, turn one and a half times. At the same time, 1st man and 2nd woman, and 3rd man, with 1st woman on his left, taking promenade hold, dance clockwise halfway round.    <\/p>\n

23 \u2013 24      3rd and 2nd couples, giving right hands to partners, turn three quarters round and remain in the middle of the set, facing up. At the same time, 1st couple dance clockwise one quarter round the set to second place, in the middle, facing up.<\/p>\n

25 \u2013 32        3rd, 1st and 2nd couples dance an allemande.<\/p>\n

Repeat, having passed a couple.<\/p>\n
